About This Site

This site is no longer being funded by CQU.  If

you work for, or know of, an educational institution

that might be interested in funding this site,

please email me for further details.

This page lists recent changes to the web-site.  If you intend to be a regular user of the site, you might like to bookmark this page so that you can see at a glance what has changed since your last visit.

New items on each page are flagged with a marker.  Known broken links will be flagged for a short period, and then removed.  If you know where such a flagged item is to be found, please let us know!

June 2007 : New sections on C.A.T.s and on self, peer, and group assessment.

March 2007 : Central Queensland University is no longer providing funding for this site.  I am therefore looking for an alternative institution or company to provide the necessary funding (and, of course, receive due credit throughout the web site!).  The site appears very high up in many Google searches.  If your organisation is interested, please email me for further details.

November 2006 : The Plagiarism section may be spawned off into a new web site on its own.  The increasing interest in this area means that there are a large  number of books and articles related to ethics and plagiarism currently being published, far too many to list on one or two pages.  More news soon.

May 2006 : You may be interested in contributing to a new book to be published in 2007 entitled Student Plagiarism in an Online World: Cases and Solutions.   See the Call for Chapters for further details.  Also, the plagiarism page has had many more books and articles added.

January 2006:  Many pages have been updated, there's a revised introduction, and due to its prevalence and importance we've included a page specifically devoted to plagiarism.  If there are resources or links you'd like to see included, please email us. Full contact details are on the home page.

November 2005:  Many pages have been updated including conferences and the call for chapters.

April 2005: Many broken links have been corrected.

November 2004: More Online  Articles and Conferences!

October 2004: The Online  Articles, Other Sites, Conferences, Software, and MCQ pages have been updated.

July 2004: The online and offline articles pages have been updated, and more books and other sites have been added.

June 2004: The MCQ page has been updated with more links, and there is a Call for Chapters for a new book on Self, Peer, and Group Assessment in E-Learning.

May 2004: New updates to the site will be happening soon!  All pages are due for revision and expansion.

November 2003:  The launch of the site!  It follows the thematic style of the Online Collaborative Learning in Higher Education web site at http://clp.cqu.edu.au, but with a different colour scheme, slightly different format, and different content.  Navigation is via the buttons on the left-hand side.  Particular items can be located by using the Search button located at the top of each page.
