Assessment Software Your Guide to Educational Assessment Software on the Web. A collection of links to various forms of software.

AssessmentStore provides a marketplace for publishers and customers to trade assessment instruments to be deployed using Question Mark's assessment platform. Not freeware. 

Brownstone provides technology solutions to deliver portable assessment data, allowing customers to move richly formatted text and algorithmically back-ended data between multiple independent systems.   

Centre for Learning & Teaching Online Self and Peer Assessment Software. 

CompassLearning software for mathematics, reading, curriculum and education.   ETS Higher Education Assessment Serves higher education with an array of tests, surveys and services useful for outcomes assessment, institutional evaluation, and self-study. This is not a free software site.   

ExamSoft develops a suite of software for mid & high-stakes exams. "The ExamSoft Suite is comprised of 3 programs for creating & storing exam content, secure exam taking and exam results processing.  What sets ExamSoft apart from other assessment providers is our proprietary security module, web-based administration, ease of use and affordability."

ExamView Review the information provided at this website to find out if this is what you need to create paper and online tests.   

Learner Profile Assessment Tools for Educators gives teachers the ability to record student's grades, track assignments, organize student information, and develop reports.  

Lertap, the Laboratory of Educational Research Test Analysis Package, is a system for item, test, and survey analysis, now into its fifth version.  This site supports Lertap users by providing access to a variety of resources. You'll find introductory material, meant to show off what Lertap can do; sample data sets for use with classes; lots of documentation; and access to software for downloading.

Online Self and Peer Assessment Tool. Luca, J. & Dunbar, A. with Oliver, R. (2002). This on-line tool helps students commit to team roles and responsibilities through the use of online contracts, a self/peer assessment tool and tutor led peer assessment.

Pearson Digital Learning is a comprehensive site offering many software solutions for assessment.   

Perception™ Online Assessment Software Perception software is a valuable addition to the testing toolbox of today's businesses, education institutions, and government organizations. With Perception software, you can quickly and easily create and administer online tests with minimal effort, giving you more time to spend with learners in the classroom or the workplace.   

Question Mark Vendor sells testing software. Question mark brings you testing software and educational software for interactive training. Site includes sample exams.   

Quia offers the Web's most extensive collection of educational tools and templates. With Quia, you can create 15 types of educational games and activities, quizzes with eight different question types, surveys, and Web pages.   

Quiz Star With this web-based utility, you will be able to create a custom quiz that others can take online! If you have a lesson plan centered around internet websites, or if you want students to be able to do take-home assignments over the internet   

Quizlab.com This site does not give extensive information but may be worth investigating.   

Teach-nology: The Web Portal for Educators The rubric generators on this site will allow you to make grading rubrics by filling out a simple form.   

Technology Pathways International see a day when teachers and administrators will have the tools and resources they need to provide a rich learning environment for all students. A day when all members of the school community will practice "continuous learning."   

TestAnything.net is a fully functional Test Processing / Grade book center.  Test Anything is geared to look similar to the exams posted at any VUE testing facilities.

The WebQuest Page is hosted by the Educational Technology Department at San Diego State University. A WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented activity in which most or all of the information used by learners is drawn from the Web. WebQuests are designed to use learners' time well, to focus on using information rather than looking for it, and to support learners' thinking at the levels of analysis, synthesis and evaluation.
